The suite was inspired by and used as the theme music for, the podcast, The Musical
Archeologist. It is constructed as a programmatic seven movement suite describing
scenes that a modern archeologist might come across. Inspired by the idea of ancient
puzzles and codices the music utilizes minimalist techniques in several areas.
