The work, Mass, is a seven-movement setting of the Latin Mass Ordinary. Using word painting throughout to depict the passion and sacrifice, Mass, though primarily a tonal composition, borrows heavily from 20th and 21st century atonal composition techniques as well. From Organum through to set theory, Mass utilizes a variety of soundscapes and methods to express the depth and profundity of the Latin Mass.
