Symphony No. 11 (2024)
I. Andante
II. Presto
III. Adagio
IV. Dance
V. March
Symphony No. 11 is a very large work, departing from the standard model by adding a fifth movement. The opening features different families of instruments in choir, playing a solemn hymn like melody, which gives way to a playful dance tune. Unlike a classical symphony which would continue with a slow movement, the second movement is a presto. The primary slow movement is the third movement and feature a mournful dirge in the woodwinds. The fourth movement, a dance movement, opening and five, but visiting other meters in its course. The fifth movement is a fun and light march.
